 A one-night work-in-process performance exploration, lush life was an investigation of the rituals, challenges, and treatments that we use to exist. Sierrah Dietz & Maritza Mercado-Narcisse are looking at the following questions: What does it mean for these two particular people to move together in this particular conversation? What are the tiny joys we allow ourselves? What do they cost? What are they worth in the scheme of things? What do we sacrifice for them? And why? What does it take to stay healthy? In communication with visual images by Dr. Andrew Hermann, lush life seeks to blur the lines between performance, ritual and healing practices.
